Blessing of the Hounds An annual tradition for over 100 years, the Blessing of the Hounds on Thanksgiving morning is a celebration unlike any other. Hundreds gathered Lyell's Meadow in Southern Pines to witness the pageantry before the opening meet of the Moore County Hounds, the oldest fox hunting club in North Carolina.
